Marble of Aleksey Chetverikov always differs its especial delicacy and graceful. As you already know many sculptures of this author have not only an art value, but also and practical appliance. ‘‘Alma-Ata’’ is one of such wonderful compositions. It is a little cassette decorated with silhouette of snow leopard and lady.

    This composition has a symbolical name because all elements placed at the top of the casket represent characteristic elements of the capital of Kazakhstan. In this work of art master settled three elements. First of them is a lady who seats near the apple-tree. There is an apple at the lady’s hand. Not far from the lady, the sculptor placed snow leopard. The animal looks at the lady. All lines in this composition are very quite and smooth, it makes the sculpture softer. Chetverikov could very great reflect the symbols of Alma-Ata.
