Despite the better part of Aleksey’s Chetverikov works are made from bronze and wood, his sculptures, made of marble, is not less beautiful or attractive. Some of them even seemed more graceful and elegant. Marble ads to the sculpture some more delicacy and gravity. The example of marmoreal statue is «Epoch».

    This work of art is symbolical. Epoch symbolize a crossing from one to another epoch. It is well known that we live in epoch of water-carrier and soon we will come to epoch of fish. Author pictured epochs of water-carrier as a lady with a pitcher with water and epoch of fish as a fish. Author tries to picture and process of a junction as transfusion of water from the jug to the fish. This sculpture cast a spell for its fairness and exactness of the lines. Author get a success to pick up correct image for two epochs.
